10 Sep Incident at Qantas Freight, Sydney
Qantas Freight is deeply saddened to confirm a serious incident occurred at the Sydney International Freight Terminal on Sunday, September 7th, in which a worker tragically lost their life. Qantas Freight is working with the Sydney terminal team and authorities to provide support and ensure privacy is respected during this difficult time.

Operational Impacts and Customer Support
The terminal remains open, though some service disruptions are expected. The Qantas Freight team is focused on minimising impacts and maintaining service continuity.
• The Sydney International Freight Terminal is currently experiencing backlogs for import cargo, with potential for up to 48-hour delay.
• Storage fees for import cargo will be waived from Monday, 8 September to midnight Thursday, 11 September.
