07 Mar Australia’s illegal logging laws will change on 3rd of March 2025
The International Policy – Forests and Agvet Chemicals unit within the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has
released factsheets and other information regarding Australia’s illegal logging laws which will change on 3 March 2025.
From 3 March 2025 the Illegal Logging Prohibition Amendment Act 2024 (Amendment Act) and associated (the Rules) will come
into effect.
The due diligence toolkits will be published on the department’s website on Monday 3 March, on the resources pages for importers
and processors.
