The Australia – UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (A – UAECEPA) is now set to enter into force on 1 October 2025 according to the relevant websites of DFAT and the ABF.

 

It will be Australia’s first FTA in the Middle – East and provides another set of trade benefits for Australian exporters and importers. According to DFAT Australia’s largest trade and investment partner in the Middle East. In 2024 two-way trade with UAE was worth $12.3 billion and two-way investment stock worth $23.7 billion.
