Dear Valued Customers,

We are excited to share a new development that will further enhance our commitment to sustainability and transparency.

Starting from January 1st, 2025 we will be providing CO2 reporting on all our tax invoices.

This new feature will allow you to better track the environmental impact of your shipments, helping you to make more informed decisions in your sustainability efforts.

By including CO2 emissions data on each invoice, we hope to support your goals in reducing your carbon footprint and aligning with global environmental standards.

As part of our commitment to this development we intend to share the ongoing maintenance costs evenly between all parties and will thereby commence charging an environmental fee of $4 per shipment from January onwards.

There is minimum information required for CO2 emission, as more information is provided, the more accurate the CO2 calculation becomes:

-Transport mode: Air, Sea, Road or Rail

-Container mode: LCL, FCL, BCN, SCN, GRP

-FROM and TO Locations: Origin Port, Planned Load Port, Destination Port, Planned Discharge Port.

-Weight: for a shipment, this is the cargo net weight (container weight not included).

CO2 Emission calculations are provided by EcoTransIT World (ETW) who use the GLEC (Global Logistics Emission Council) framework and follow a detailed methodology.
